Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex two-time unified title holder Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive mismatch - at Miami arena on 19 December.
"I will damage his features and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Despite such comments, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - normally known for his theatrics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.
"I give him credit for that."
Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily fought MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
However, the novice is still one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, regularly earning substantial earnings.
The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would derail the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.
As the two fighters engaged in the traditional stare-down, with their height and weight contrast evident, it highlighted just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the fight is really going ahead.
